CASUAL VACANCIES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of 3 casual vacancies in the office of councillor on Llanrug Community Council.

An election will be held to fill the vacancies if a request in writing for an election which includes the signatures of ten electors of the said ward is sent to: The Returning Officer, Gwynedd Council, Council Offices, Caernarfon, Gwynedd LL55 1SH within the period ending at 12 noon on Friday, 19 June, 2026.

In the absence of a request for an election, the vacancies will be filled by the Community Council.

Inspection of Cemetery memorials

PUBLIC NOTICE

Please note that Llanrug Community Council’s ongoing safety programme involving the inspection of all memorials at its cemetery will take place

WEEK COMMENCING 4 AUGUST 2025

Any memorial that has not met the health and safety requirements will be provided with a notice and temporary support. Details of the action required to make the memorial safe will be available on the noticeboard and on the council’s website.

For your safety, and that of all visitors to the cemetery DO NOT attempt to test memorials yourself. Any work to repair to memorials must be undertaken by a qualified monumental mason.

ALL MEMORIALS REMAIN THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OWNER TO KEEP IN GOOD SAFE ORDER

We appreciate your assistance and co-operation in ensuring this cemetery is a safe place for everyone to visit

NOTICE OF CONCLUSION OF AUDIT AND RIGHT TO INSPECT THE ANNUAL RETURN FOR THE YEARS ENDED 31 MARCH 2022, 2023, 2024

Public Audit (Wales) Act 2004 Section 29
Accounts and Audit (Wales) Regulations 2014

1. The audit of accounts for the Llanrug Community Council for the years ended 31 March 2022, 2023 and 2024 has been concluded.

2. The annual return is available for inspection by any local government elector for the area of the Llanrug Community Council on application to:

By appointment ONLY between17:00 pm and 19:00 pm on Mondays to Fridays from 8 June 2025 until 22 June 2025 (excluding public holidays), when any local government elector may make copies of the annual return.

£1.00 for each copy of the annual return.
